Iggy likes his obed class
and he does pretty well. He’s a smart’un.
Only problem is that he’s an excitable boy– reactive to anything from shadows to children.
& that as me wondering about what to do for Halloween…
I’d like him to hand out candy with us, but realistically? Groups of masked squealing little people & Iggy? I’m not seeing it.
Crated with treats is saner, I think.

Hero Dog Video
The video is from a traffic camera overlooking the busy Costanera Norte freeway in Santiago, Chile. It shows a dog that has been hit by a car on a busy highway. Under these conditions, such an animal would not have a chance of being saved. Enter our compassionate hero…

This is what Iggy is working on– his biggest challenge so far since he REALLY gets excited meeting new people.
I’m a fan of Biscuit & Gravy collars
They are hand made here in Austin by an artist who crafts each one with wonderful patterns and an easily detachable ring so you can move your fuzzbutt’s tags quickly between collars.
Iggy has been given quite a few treats lately- walks around the Domain (did I mention he loves meeting people?), freeze dried tripe (how much do I love Iggy? I love him enough to deal with the smell of tripe), trips to Dog Boy’s Dog Ranch… but his holiday collar with its big cheerful retro snowflakes– ok, that was probably more a treat for me than for him.
